THE MONASTERY OF LORD EMILS
Long ago, a wealthy aristocrat named Lord Emils built a secluded monastery to house a very special kind of treasure—a treasure that held value to him and him alone.
Lord Emils possessed an unhealthy obsession with the paranormal, the occult, and the darkest evils of humanity. Unsatisfied with mere stories and legends, he became determined to collect proof of the things that civilized men feared.
To satisfy his obsession, Lord Emils employed a secret order of monks and sent them across the world in search of strange and unholy specimens. They returned with relics, creatures, cursed objects, and things that perhaps were never meant to be discovered.
Using ancient spells, rituals, and incantations, the monks imprisoned these horrors within the monastery, where Lord Emils could study and observe them in secret.
But time eventually claimed Lord Emils.
Then it claimed the monks.
With no one left to perform the ancient incantations, the spells began to weaken. The barriers failed. The things imprisoned within the monastery were finally free.
Now the halls that once contained Lord Emils' collection have become a place of darkness, madness, and terror.
