What is the minimum age to attend?
Visitors must be 13 or older. Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The experience contains intense scares, strobe effects, and theatrical fog.
How long does the experience take?
The walk-through takes approximately 25–40 minutes depending on your group's pace. Allow additional time for queuing, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.
Is there a safe word if I need to exit?
Yes. Say the word SANCTUARY at any time and a staff member will escort you out safely and discreetly. No questions asked.
Are there strobe lights or fog effects?
Yes. The Monastery uses theatrical fog, strobe lighting, and low-light environments throughout. If you have photosensitive epilepsy or respiratory concerns, please consult your doctor before attending.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Walk-up tickets may be available on select nights, but we strongly recommend purchasing in advance. Popular dates — especially Halloween — sell out weeks ahead.
What is your refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another available date up to 48 hours before your event. Contact us using the form below to arrange a transfer.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

100% of net proceeds are distributed to vetted New York nonprofits focused on food security, youth education, and mental health services. Learn more on our Charity page.
